  2. For anyone who can’t get the upper return spring off, use a large needle nose vice grip plier to get a good grip on the spring, and turn the adjuster wheel to bring the shoes closer together to reduce tension on the spring. You are welcome.

  3. One adjuster lever shortens by turning it clockwise while the other one shortens by turning counterclockwise. So which one goes on which side?
