As a mechanic that runs his own shop, I can honestly say that if I’m changing a timing belt and water pump: I reach for an AISIN kit every time. I like how educational this video is, it shows the lengths that AISIN goes to maintain the quality of their product.
what is a water pump? Is that for the coolant?
Aisin or OEM is the only thing i would put on my Toyotas.
Does Mizumo sell the real Aisin timing belt?
I just got the Aisin TKK005 for a hyundai off Rockauto and it has Mitsuboshi belt, Aisin H2O pump, PHC Valeo idler rollers and a no name hydraulic tensioner that looks just like the Dayco hydraulic tensioner. I am concerned about the tensioner.
